Given a graph G with q edges, a labeling of the nodes with distinct integers from the set {0, 1, 2,…,q} induces an edge labeling where the label of an edge is the absolute difference of the labels of the two nodes incident to that edge. Such a labeling is graceful if the edge labels are distinct. A graph G is called graceful if there exist a graceful labeling of G. In this paper, the gracefulness of a new class, namely En-Tree (copies of E-Tree) and copies of C3 with one edge common are obtainedKeywords

In vitro studies was conducted to evaluate the effect of seaweed extracts of Caulerpa racemosa (green alga), Sargassum myricocystum (brown alga) and Gracilaria edulis (red alga) against the mycelial growth of Macrophomina phaseolina at different concentrations of 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 per cent along with control by poison food technique. The result revealed that extract of S. myricocystum showed significant antifungal activity against pathogen followed by G. edulis and C. racemosa. S. myricocystum (30%) extract recorded the lowest mycelial growth (45.2, 50.6, 58.4 and 61.5 mm) at 24, 48, 72 and 96 hrs after incubation. Among the antagonists tested against Macrophomina phaseolina, the fungal antagonists Trichoderma viride was found to be most effective in reducing the mycelial growth than the bacterial antagonist Pseudomonas fluorescens. Both the antagonistic of fungi and bacteria has compatability with seaweed extracts in all the concentrations. Keywords

Seed priming is a simple, low-cost, low-risk intervention and powerful technique to improve seedling emergence, seedling vigour and yields of several crops. The laboratory experiment was conducted at Department of Seed Science and Technology, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai during 2014-2015, to find out the effect of priming with bovine urines of cow, buffalo, goat and pig. The pumpkin seeds were soaked for 12 h with different concentrations of 5 and 10 per cent along with control (dry treatment). The seed quality parameters viz., germination (%), ischolar_main length (cm), shoot length (cm), vigour index and dry matter production (g seedlings-10) were evaluated. Among the bovine urines, seeds primed with pig urine (5%) recorded highest germination (99 %), ischolar_main length (15.6 cm), shoot length (28.5 cm), dry matter production (1.4 g seedlings-10) and vigour index I (4366) compared to control (78, 13.0, 24.0, 1.1 and 2886, respectively). Keywords
